AOM-SOS Version 5.0: Enhanced Psychometric Scale for Acute Otitis Media - Commercial Use

Commercial use includes any use by a commercial entity or any use funded by a commercial entity and includes any use in a commercial clinical study and/or patient care outside of a clinical study.

The fees associated with this Commercial License are as follows:

$25,000 for each commercial clinical study (a study directed or funded by a commercial entity)* *If the entity directing or funding the study has 50 or fewer employees AND the study involves 100 or fewer participants, the fee is reduced to $5,000 per study.

All other commercial uses are charged on a fee for use basis:

<250 uses $1,000
251 – 500 $2,500
501 - 1,000 uses $5,000
1,001 – 2,500 uses $9,000
2,501 – 5,000 uses $12,000
5,001 – 10,000 uses $15,000
>10,000 uses $20,000

Many translations are available upon request.

If you translate the AOM-SOS Version 5.0: Enhanced Psychometric Scale for Acute Otitis Media ("AOM-SOS") yourself, translations must use established linguistic validation methods including (but not limited to) cognitive interviews, translation, and back-translation by two bi-lingual speakers. All translations are the property of the University of Pittsburgh and You must provide any new translations You create to the University of Pittsburgh at IILA@pitt.edu and You agree to assign any rights You may have to such translations to the University of Pittsburgh.
